As Senior Director of Sales & Aftermarket Services, relationship building is at the core of what drives Sam. He loves being part of a team that's innovative and strategic, and he channels his competitive and financially driven nature into solving problems and making the end result better than he found it. His favorite part of the job is traveling to customer sites, digging into their automation challenges, and showing how Douglas can make a difference.

Sam is a die-hard Minnesota sports fan, which he describes as a beautiful and painful way to live. When he’s not at Douglas, you'll find him coaching basketball, out on the golf course, playing pickleball, or at the lake with his family—his wife Emily and their four kids.

Fun fact, Sam is a serious food enthusiast, especially when traveling. He’s well on his way to tracking down the best local restaurants in almost every major U.S. city — and a few international ones, too.
