About Matt
Matt holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and many years’ experience in the engineering field. Those past experiences have given Matt an appreciation for the challenges customers can face when it comes to production lines. As Senior Director of R&D, he is motivated to solve those challenges in differentiated ways and feels a great deal of satisfaction when volume production performs at high efficiency.
When he’s not at work, Matt enjoys the outdoors, whether it’s time on the lake or in the woods, in Minnesota or in other states. It’s even better when that time is spent with family. Matt is also a sports fan. And, if the topic ever comes up, he’d like everyone to know that the correct pronunciation of sauna is “SOW-nuh” (not SAW-nuh)!
