About Brent
Brent’s career at Douglas began in 2004 as a mechanical engineer in the R&D department. Since then, Brent has filled several different roles and currently leads the company’s production teams. A typical day involves monitoring key performance indicators, developing strategies to overcome obstacles, communicating across departments, and cheering on employees. He is inspired by the employee-ownership culture at Douglas and leveraged the company’s tuition reimbursement program to obtain a Master of Business Administration.
Outside work, Brent loves all things involving water, family, and friends—including fishing, jet skiing, pontoon rides, swimming… One of his motivations to move to Alexandria, MN, was to be near a lake community close to extended family. That said, his most fulfilling activities are serving others and volunteering through church and community organizations.
